Christopher and Alison Get Married

Larry's brother's son, Christopher, got married on June 27 in Cleveland, Ohio. It was a great excuse for a nice road trip, so we took off for a two-and-a-half week vacation. Christopher is the last niece/nephew to get married, and we love Alison. They will be living in Washington DC, where Alison is a teacher and Christopher is an attorney for TSA in the Dept. of Homeland Security. Hopefully, they will be able to move down to Texas in the near future.

Sarah and Bob Hanley, Christopher's sister--she was a bridesmaid and they were on their way to the church. Temps in Cleveland that weekend were in the high 70's and low 80's!
The wedding took place at The Old Stone Church in downtown Cleveland. It was built in the 1800's and Abraham Lincoln's body lay in state there for a short time after his death. It even had two Tiffany stained glass windows. At the end of the ceremony, a bagpiper came in and led the wedding party across the street to the reception.

Larry and his brother, Tim, the father of the groom.

Their first dance.

Larry's sister-in-law, Carol, with Chris and Sarah

There was great music and everyone had a great time on the dance floor until the wee hours! Especially Christopher!

What a beautiful couple and what a fun time you had in Cleveland. Can't wait to see the rest of the trip.
